to build our business on the same principles that brought us our initial success nearly 30 years ago.
The son of a carpenter, Lasse Enqvist developed an interest in carpentry at a very young age.
After diligently working to perfect his craft, he began a small, one-man operation called Enqvist Carpentry in 1979.
Originally focused on small projects including basements and bathrooms, Enqvist quickly gained a name for itself, and started doing business across the North Shore of Chicago.
As business grew, the projects followed, and over time included room additions, remodeling and custom homes.
Today, our projects are of greater scale and complexity, but our client base is still primarily homeowners on the North Shore; a niche audience that demands the excellent service, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship we take pride in offering each and every customer.
Much of our success can be attributed to recommendations and word of mouth, and we have had numerous repeat customers over the years.
